Hello. I work in a research institute, and I have question about image usage. I first upload this question at the forum, since I could not find official email address. So this institute publish academic books annually by uploading PDF file for free at the website. It has no commercial purpose, and anyone with the access can read this e-book. We were looking for an image to use for the front cover of the book, and we found an apt one at Pixabay and intend to use it if there is no problem regarding copyright or license issues. The publish right of the book belongs to the institute, but we can separately put copyright mark to rightful owner regarding the front cover image if necessary. Pixaby License says that all content on Pixabay can be used except for certain cases. I'm curious whether this case is allowed or is not allowed to use image from Pixabay. I would appreciate an official reply from the Pixabay for our administrative purposes. I will wait for reply. Thank you. Min Lee
