I received an email from Pixabay several days ago which reads "Unfortunately, too many of your images do not fulfill our quality standards." It then provides a link back to the "Image Quality Guidelines" page. When I went to my account recently, a similar message came up. Unfortunately, the email is not at all helpful in determining to which images it refers. While I understand that Pixabay has raised it's requirements for images, as my images have all been through the approvals process, I still remain unclear to which images the email refers: Is it those images which are patterns? As a graphic designer, I often seek images and patterns which are suitable for backgrounds etc on images that I create, so I provided patterned images for other graphic designers to use. Is it the cartoon-style images? There are many thousands of photographs on Pixabay which are not suitable for use because it infringes upon the personality rights of those shown in the photos. When I find an image that I feel is useful, I occasionally recreate them as cartoon style images. After requesting permission from the Pixabay member who originally supplied the photo, I then share them through my Pixabay account for others who also cannot use the original photos for the same reason. Are you able to clarify please? Thank you. Vicki
