I found some images I want to use but I'd like to verify that they are actually in the public domain. Is there anyway to contact the uploader? I don't think the uploader is the artist who made these images so I'm not sure if there actually in the poblic domain. I was hoping to contact the artist but the uploader does not mention who the artist is. Does Pixabay verify that the images uploaded are actually in the public domain or is it just all on trust? If you guys do verify do you contact the artists who made the work? Just a suggestion but why not make uploaders provide a source link where the art comes from so users can verify? The art I want to use looks really high quality and if I cannot verify I will not use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you block a certain photographer from your results? (AngieJohnston)
I search the same image types frequently, and I was wondering if there's a way to block a certain photographer from your results. The same pictures come up that are irrelevant to my searches, and I won't ever have a use for them - is there a way to cut them out of the results so that I don't have to sift through the first five pages to find images?

Advice on using images for Commercial Purposes (rickyk)
Hi all. I'm new here and have a question. I have read the TOS & the Blog but I'm still not clear about one issue. I want to use some images (machines/vehicles essentially, not living people) present on this site for commercial purposes. I would like clarification on point c) in the TOS namely where it says - "c) Furthermore, certain Images may be subject to additional copyrights, property rights, trademarks etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights. Pixabay does not represent or make any warranties that it owns or licenses any of the mentioned, nor does it grant them. It's your and the Image uploader's responsibility to make sure that all the necessary rights, consents and licenses for the use of the Images are provided." Its the bit in bold that I would like clarification on. If I contact the person who has uploaded an image listed it as "Free for commercial use / No attribution required" and he confirms the same, is that all that is required? Or am I still on shaky ground? Also, I see several images where the option to "Message" the uploader is missing on the page in question. The only two options that show up are "Coffee" & "Follow". In such a case, how does one contact the uploader? Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers

Can not download with Android (EdR)
Hi. I'm running Android v4.1.2 on my phone (LG39C, a.k.a. "LG Optimus Dynamic II") and I get a "download failed" message every time I try to download a picture. The problem happens with Chrome and the built-in Web browser. Could anyone please help? Thank you.

Saved links not working (classtracks)
Hi pixabay community! I was bookmarking some images to go through later and now none of the links work! It's been less than 3 hours since I started, so it can't just be that the image was moved. Here's what I've been doing: - find an image - click view - save the url that shows up Here is a sample of a url that I saved: /c24e2f822e35c8164015/1438091050/baby-21249_1280.jpg Any ideas for how to find the images again? Not happy so far with Pixabay (caylee)
I have been with Pixabay for a little while now. I am a photographer, AND JUST HAD 4 SHOTS REJECTED! They were rejected for exactly the reasons they were published. Silhouette, soft focus, etc. If TPTB want clear concise and sometimes boring shots then it appears that this is the right place to be. I fail to understand the FAQs as they stand, being rather standard and mainstream. A shame. Is anyone else having the same problem? Or is it just me viewing this as a problem? Thank you Caylee

I have a company that posts to a lot of social media sites. I'm determining if this is a safe site for us. Articles like this really blur the lines https://pixabay.com/blog/posts/public-domain-images-what-is-allowed-and-what-is-4/. Is there any way to tell if someone has a model or property release for a particular photo? Do you have to message them for that? Do I need to be extra careful when posting pics of people?

Hello, I have problem with my images uploaded on Pixabay. I use Lightroom CC [color profile ProPhoto RGB] and Photoshop CC [color profile sRGB]. So I save image in Photoshop as JPG and after I upload on Pixabay. In my computer are photographs less green and less dark as uploaded on Pixabay already. It's some way to have to fix it? I'm just hobbist and I can't to buy professional X-rite monitor calibrate machine. I think my iMac have good ground calibration. Thank you

Poor Focus Or In The Wrong Place (EditorsCAC)
Hello, everyone, it's not a big deal but I generated some nice Bokeh backgrounds that I wanted to share and 3 of them were rejected for being blurry. I'd prefer to call it a "glow" since Bokeh IS "out of focus." Is there a way to have someone reconsider or shall I only upload crisp images that people have to blur themselves? It's not a big deal to me, I just wanted to share what I could... Thank you! -Carly

Video uploading - Mac freezing? (Mariamichelle)
My Mac is only about 6 weeks old, but freezes every time I try to upload a video. This has happened when the video is not large enough. Is this an issue with my new computer or is anyone else having this problem. Of course I want to take my computer to Apple and have it looked at if something is wrong with it especially since it's brand new.
