Got a copyriight fine for using Pixabay image - how is this possible? (Jamo)
Hi, we used a strawberry pic from this site. Here is the link to the image: https://pixabay.com/strawberry-fruit-food-fresh-684320/ Here is the image on the 500px.com site: https://500px.com/search?q=63830459 We are supposed to pay $680 settlement for using the image that supposed to be public domain here but obviously is listed on the 500px site for purchase. We check the licenses of Images we use and the image had a clear public domain license on Pixabay. How can this happen? We use Pixabay for years now and recommend it to others, too. Have you had copyright issues with Pixabay images and how to handle this? Shall we just delete all Pixabay images from our sites immediately? Is Pixabay still a trustable source for public domain images? We would appreciate your answer! Thank you!

Rejected photos - can I have a second opinion, please? (Lucas23)
Hi all, A couple of days ago, I have uploaded my first ten photos. At this time, 6 of them were rejected. While I can find the rejection of 2 of them reasonable (although interpretation of quality standards may be subjective, I am fine with that), I would really appreciate a second opinion on this 4 photos: https://pixabay.com/hotel-miramar-argentina-grand-hotel-969403/ https://pixabay.com/torre-antena-celular-celulares-969407/ https://pixabay.com/l%C3%A1mpara-luz-bombita-foco-luces-969410/ https://pixabay.com/magdalenas-dulces-cumplea%C3%B1os-comida-969391/ In the first two photos, I looked for that composition specifically (I have at least 10-12 takes of the hotel sign) and I am pretty happy with the results, so it's hard for me to understand the rejection. While in the 4th photo (cupcakes) I can recognize a certain tilt, I think the overall image and the light, colours and subject could fairly make up for it. I have an account in Pixabay for the last year and was a regular, unregistered user for at least another year, so I have seen, and used, a lot of images here. I would really love to give something back. What do you think? Finally, just an idea. What about a "second opinion" button for rejected images? I have seen other users requesting for that on the forum, so it may be a way to ease the work for the staff. I know it may be not so simple from a technical perspective, but again, it's just an idea. Captcha problem (jonafriedri)
Hi, I have a problem with captcha, the number one works perfectly, but the text one doesn't seem to work. At first, it's quite difficult to read the text, the font is confusing at least, secondly, even when I try realy hard and try to solve the captcha for minute or two it always says that it's wrong. How to tag my images correctly (kip)
I uploaded 10 images and tagged them with a description for each hit save and saw message min 3 words which I had and in a couple of cases 4 words. after everyone was saved I went to my images page and is said 10 images untagged what am I doing wrong? I thought once I hit save that would be it. Kip

Model Imagery No Longer On Pixaby (trintrin33)
Hello, I am new to pixabay and I have downloaded some really nice model shots that I want to use on a template based web system. They contain faces. Most of the images I downloaded within the last month are still on Pixabay but I noticed that a few have been removed. What does this mean? Should I discontinue use of these photos? Is there anyway we can get proof of their origin so we can know if it is legal to use them? I know that in most cases face shots require model releases but I am assuming if they have been uploaded to pixabay the photographer has that release. How safe is that assumption. Flag Fingerprints - Turning them into vector images (Kurious)
Good day! I was thinking about turning my flag fingerprint png images into vectors. I was going to try to do it in inkscape. If I did this, could I still have my original png files listed on the website or would you delete the old png files after I made the vector versions? I know that they probably wouldn't be the exact same image after conversion. So, that's why I'm asking...?? :) Thank you, Kurious

Rejected Vector Image (UnboxScience)
Hello, I uploaded an original vector cartoon depiction of a US Map (line art, stylized background) that I created and it was apparently rejected. Having never seen this error message, I uploaded it once more to be sure and it was rejected again. After reviewing your guidelines, I see no issue with the content. Can you provide some clarity as to why this image was possibly rejected? There is a grand total of 3 vector maps of the US currently on the site. I am just trying to give back and thought someone somewhere may find this art useful.

As the topic title says: again the count for my favorites has gone down. This has happened twice. This morning it was twelve, and I cannot help noticing that now it is eleven. Is this a known glitch? How about videos? 1. I suppose that since there is a download button, you must download them in order to use them, right? 2. Can the downloaded videos be re-uploaded to sites like YouTube or Vimeo? I am working with a charity and they would love to create Christmas cards that they might sell to raise money for the charity, although this year more of a test so not expecting a profit due to small print runs. I'm a terrible photographer. My interests lay in graphic design and photo editing. There have been several images that I have downloaded from this site that I have 'fixed'... adjusting contrast, saturation, and general lighting issues.
